Core + Floor 14 Day Reset – Day Five

Key points:

  • Alignment is a tool not a full-time rule.
  • Most of us have habitual one-sided patterns.
  • It’s good to know what a “neutral-ish” standing position is, so we can come back to it. We’re not aiming
  • Feet forward
  • Knees not locked
  • Pelvis over heels
  • Neither tucked or too untuck
  • The ribcage sits above the pelvis
  • The head sits on the neck

Key points:

  • Walk on the spot for a moment with your eyes closed (or open). Stop. Notice whether your feet are facing forwards or a bit turned out or in.
  • Rock your body forward and back. Notice which position feels more familiar.
  • Rock from side to side.
  • Notice the effect on your feet.
  • Move your weight forward to the side to the back to the side. Round in circles.
